What to send for an accurate quote
Share the make, model and year, which windows you want tinted, your current glass and the installation postcode. Photographs help if you want a particular factory-glass match or need old film removed. We’ll confirm mobile availability and any access requirements before agreeing the appointment.
Front glass needs a separate check
UK front side windows have legal light-transmission limits for the glass and film combined. We assess the existing glass before recommending any front-window film. Rear side windows and the rear windscreen can be considered for darker privacy finishes. Read the shade and legality guide ↗

A few things worth knowing.
Can you tint my windows at home?
Yes. LuxTint is a mobile service covering the West Midlands and much of the North West. Send your postcode and details of the space available. We confirm access, working conditions and availability before booking.
Which shade is right for my car?
That depends on the look, privacy and visibility you want, as well as the glass already fitted. Use our shade illustration as a starting point, then discuss film samples and your vehicle with us. Darker does not automatically mean better heat rejection.
Is window tinting legal in the UK?
For vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1985, the windscreen must transmit at least 75% of light and front side windows at least 70%. Earlier vehicles require at least 70% for both. The limits apply to the glass and film together. Rear passenger windows and the rear windscreen have no tint-darkness limit under these rules. Read the official GOV.UK guidance ↗.

Which film and warranty do you offer?
We use Global QDP window film with a lifetime ownership warranty. Ask us for the full terms and aftercare guidance for your installation.
How long should I allow?
Our existing service guidance gives around one to two hours for many installations. Your vehicle, the windows being treated and any old film removal can change this. We confirm the expected time when arranging your appointment.
